Operator and international use

Yard Material Lab is operated by an individual based in Mainland China and is made available to users in multiple countries. The service is not represented as being operated by a United States company or incorporated entity.

The initial paid launch is planned primarily for users in the United States. We do not currently direct paid advertising, targeted paid-plan marketing or a paid launch at consumers in the European Union or United Kingdom. Payment methods and availability may depend on the buyer location and payment provider.

You are responsible for following laws that apply to your use of the service in your location.

Planning estimates only

Results depend on your measurements, chosen depth, waste allowance and price inputs. The full planner uses preset material density and bag-size assumptions for weight and bag estimates; these assumptions are not supplier specifications. Natural materials vary by moisture, compaction, grading, product size and supplier specifications.

Always verify measurements, product coverage, delivery limits and final quantities with your supplier or qualified contractor before purchasing or beginning work.

Permitted use

You may use the service for personal projects and legitimate business planning. You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape it at an unreasonable rate, introduce malicious code or misrepresent Yard Material Lab output as a certified engineering document.

Your plans and uploads

You retain rights to plans and images you provide. You are responsible for having permission to use them and for avoiding unnecessary personal or sensitive information in uploads.

Paid services

Yard Material Lab subscriptions are paid through PayPal. Yard Material Lab is the service seller and is responsible for the offered service, applicable seller obligations and approved refunds. PayPal processes payments and recurring billing; it is not the seller of the Yard Material Lab planning service.

These Yard Material Lab terms govern access to and use of the planning product. Before confirming a subscription, review the plan price, billing period, included features, applicable taxes, renewal terms and cancellation information shown in the purchase flow.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change or discontinue features and may suspend access needed to protect users, the service or third parties. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as-is and without warranties. Yard Material Lab is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, supplier differences, site conditions, construction decisions or reliance on an estimate without independent verification.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country where a consumer lives.

Governing law and contact

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business in Mainland China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived under the law of a user's country of residence.
